Our story
Due to our roots in the border area of four countries, we have been familiar with the peculiarities of the neighboring markets for many years. From our own experience, we know how complex and time-consuming shipping to foreign countries can be – especially across EU borders.
Finding a simple, fast and automated solution for this was our motivation – and the beginning of exporto.
We now help over 100 e-commerce companies automate their customs and tax processes and make their entire supply chain more efficient.

Milestones
Launch of our Swiss returns centre
Since our own returns center in Tägerwilen is always up to the highest technical standards, we have been offering the leanest returns solution on the market for several years.
1.000.000 parcel mark surpassed
In 2022, we processed over 1.000.000 parcels for the first time. Due to increasing new customer business, our processes are designed for twice the parcel volume this year.
Go-live of our solution for the UK
Opening our returns centre in Northhampton, UK, was the final missing link to offer our end-to-end solution for the UK market.
New DELIVER Awards record
exporto received two awards at the DELIVER fair in Amsterdam – a unique event since the fair began 10 years ago.

For the second year in a row, we received the Top Company Award from kununu, which makes us one of the best employers in Germany.
Starting the new year with 120 employees
exporto grows at a rapid pace: we are now entering 2023 with 120 employees, spread across 6 locations in Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.

How SNOCKS broke through without any extra effort in Switzerland
After the first test packages came back immediately, it became clear that a new solution was needed for Switzerland without abandoning established processes. By implementing automated customs and tax processing, SNOCKS no longer has to worry about the operational difference between shipping to Switzerland and Germany.
How KoRo became a leading supplier in Switzerland and the UK
At the beginning, KoRo was working with a logistics-only provider, so customs clearance and product data had to be transmitted manually on a daily basis. By connecting technology and logistics, KoRo was able to optimise its processes and shorten delivery times by 2 days.
